The SofaVisit by J&J – Cutting-edge virtual viewings

Although already keen users of new technologies, the first lockdown allowed us to take our thinking even further. What do our clients need? How is human contact evolving? What do prospective tenants and buyers expect?

Virtual viewings quickly became an obvious choice. We have offered them at J&J for a long time, but only for properties for sale. The social distancing imposed upon us reinforced our belief that this cutting-edge technological tool was a real asset that should be used on a wider scale.
That is why we decided to create virtual viewings for all our properties for sale and to let; from now on, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the SofaVisit by J&J!

What is the SofaVisit?

From now on, anyone interested in a property can view it virtually from their sofa.
This viewing can be done alone or accompanied by an agent.
Let us explain!

How does it work?

When browsing our website, you will see a small 360° logo in the top-left corner of the photo. This indicates that a virtual viewing is available for the property.

If the user is interested in the property, they will probably have clicked on it for more details.
At this stage, they have two options:
1. They view the property by themselves, whenever it suits them best. To do so, they simply click on the 360° logo
2. They view the property virtually with an agent. To do so, they simply need to contact the agent by email or telephone to arrange a video conference. This will be an excellent opportunity for an initial discussion, during which the agent can answer all the prospective client's questions.

Why use this tool?

The SofaVisit offers many advantages.

Firstly, it saves a great deal of time and gives everyone the same opportunity to make an offer or submit an application. We all know how difficult it can sometimes be to leave our daily activities or work to attend a private appointment. With the SofaVisit, prospective clients can view the property virtually whenever it suits them, at a time and place of their choosing!
It also avoids unnecessary appointments, both for prospective clients and agents. The virtual viewing is so realistic that disappointment is almost impossible. Photographs are certainly very important, but they do not always make it possible to understand the layout; a virtual viewing leaves no room for doubt.
Furthermore, a guided virtual viewing allows all the prospective client's questions to be answered. It should nevertheless be noted that this tool will never replace an in-person viewing, but it provides a pleasant initial contact and will undoubtedly lead to a physical viewing.
Finally, it allows people moving to Belgium to view properties remotely, without having to plan a trip here to find their future home. This saves them time and money, while helping the environment by reducing travel.
