The warmer days are just around the corner and the flowers smell wonderful, but your garden has endured the harsh winter… Yet you can already picture yourself enjoying a family barbecue in a well-tended garden bursting with life. 09:00, Saturday morning
You slept with the window open, a gentle breeze tickled the tip of your nose and the birds sang to wake you. You head downstairs barefoot, make yourself a lovely coffee and soon step outside to enjoy it in your hammock, beneath the shade of the willow tree. You have a magnificent view of the flowers you lovingly tended last weekend. They are wild, just the way you like them. Naturally, you sowed poppies, cow parsley, hollyhocks and wild chicory: your favourites… What’s more, your father’s old zinc tub sets them off beautifully!

You make yourself an omelette with freshly laid eggs from that morning. Every day, you congratulate yourself on having called on Wonderpoule to create and look after your chicken coop. The icing on the cake is that, thanks to the hens, your household waste has been cut in half.

You have finished applying the layer of mulch to your new permaculture project. You are convinced that permanent agriculture is the future of our society, and you are delighted to get stuck in. You have invited your brothers and sisters over for lunch. You are torn between a barbecue and a homemade pizza, but there is no need to choose because you have built an outdoor oven and a barbecue! You can enjoy both without (too much) restraint. Your pergola-trained vine keeps your terrace cool while still allowing you to enjoy the few rays of sunshine filtering through the leaves.

The children can no longer sit still and head off to have fun in the pool. It is natural too, as you proudly favour living, naturally purified water.

How about a quick game of boules? And if your pregnant sister gets tired, she can make the most of the outdoor lounge area you created from old pallets.

You light the fire pit as the evening is starting to turn cooler, and fire up the pizza oven again because no one can bring themselves to leave: there is nothing quite like making memories!
