The home of the future according to J&J
A day in the home of the future
Who wouldn’t dream of having a little more time for themselves? As automation, artificial intelligence and home automation become an increasingly integral part of our daily lives, J&J invites you to experience a typical day in the home of the future: smart and configurable, tailored to your lifestyle, tastes and wishes, so that it suits you better than ever while saving you valuable time.

Morning
06:45 The sounds of nature gently wake you. Your Google Home assistant has set the alarm for fifteen minutes later, taking into account real-time traffic conditions on your journey to work. You have had a good night’s sleep, and your partner has not snored thanks to the mattress that automatically adjusts its position.
07:00 First, the shutters open, letting in the daylight. The delightful aroma of freshly ground coffee is already wafting through the kitchen, while the bathroom tiles and towels have already been warm for around ten minutes.
07:45
07:45 Unfortunately, it is time to leave. From your car, you activate the alarm so that the house is secured. The window you inadvertently left open closes.
Afternoon
15:00
15:00 From the office, you check that the dog is all right via the camera connected to your smartphone. His food was dispensed at exactly 14:30, and the robot vacuum cleaner is operating in the living room. Between two meetings, you take the opportunity to programme the washing machine for 17:30, so that the wash cycle is finished when you get home. In the meantime, the smart flowerpots will automatically water the living-room plants, taking the current light levels into account. Most of the day’s household chores are complete.
16:17
16:17 The babysitter arrives home with the children. As she does not have the keys, a notification asks whether you would like to unlock the front door. The children throw the remains of their snack into the bin, whose sensor automatically sorts the waste.
18:00 You are at the supermarket but have not had the chance to make a list. Naturally, the smart fridge sends you a photo of its contents and even suggests recipes for this evening. From the supermarket car park, you start preheating the oven.
18:30
18:30 You are back home. The stove came on less than an hour ago, so it is 21 degrees inside. As a result, you are in a cheerful mood and immediately instruct your speakers to play your favourite music throughout the house.
Meanwhile…
At the same time, the garden’s automatic watering system has been activated because the weather station indicates that rainfall will be low over the coming days. It therefore makes sense for the lawnmower to return to the charging station.
19:45 And yes, you are planning to make a dessert; the stand mixer will have finished preparing the mixture in around fifteen minutes. In the meantime, it is the perfect opportunity to watch the latest episode of your favourite series on your Smart TV. Naturally, the lighting dims for the occasion.
21:30
21:30 Finally, you go to bed. The shutters close, the lights switch off, then the alarm is activated and your Google Home assistant asks what your plans are for tomorrow.
