Our New Year’s resolutions for 2019!

After a long morning of brainstorming, we are delighted to share some of our New Year’s resolutions for 2019!

2019 is going green

We are not talking about politics here, but rather small changes we can make in our daily routine at the agency.

  • SORT BETTER! Introduce food waste sorting and, why not, keep chickens in our garden!
  • We have a fantastic electric bicycle at the office, which we have been using since last April. When the weather is fine, we really clock up the miles! Let’s be honest, it is impossible for an agent to cycle to ALL their viewings, but for journeys of just a few kilometres, it is our preferred option!
  • Reduce our coffee consumption.
  • Calculate our environmental footprint, to understand where we can improve and offset what we cannot improve by planting trees.
  • In the same spirit, use the search engine Ecosia, which donates 80% of its profits to a reforestation programme.
  • Prioritise the use of recycled paper.
  • Spend less time deciding on the day what to eat for lunch. To achieve this, reusable containers and homemade lunches are the way forward!
  • No more throwing away the contents of the fridge at the end of each week! No more leaving a half-eaten tub of filet américain to go off. We will have one “leftovers” lunch each week!

2019 is about improving our services even further

Our results for 2018 are extremely encouraging (+55%!), and we want to maintain this excellent growth throughout the year ahead! We have come up with several ideas to help us achieve this:

  • More professional videos to showcase the properties entrusted to us!
  • Give our clients first-class care and get to know their needs by inviting them to fantastic events.
  • Strengthen our team and provide the best possible training! We want our team to be close-knit and able to work in unison. To achieve this, we are counting on our more experienced colleagues to share their knowledge with newcomers, while also creating more opportunities to spend time together and get to know one another better!
  • Organise conversation tables in Dutch to improve our agents’ proficiency.
  • Increase our presence at property events to enhance our networking and training!
  • Engage as much as possible with our followers on social media.
  • Increase our market share in Walloon Brabant.

If you think of anything else, please feel free to share it!
