Here are our favourite property search tools! Are you looking for a property? We recommend a few tools that can be very useful for obtaining additional information and sorting through the multitude of listings available to you.

 

• Brugis (for the Brussels-Capital Region only). This geographic data software provides a wealth of useful information about a property and its surroundings. As well as viewing the plot and its dimensions, you can check the designated use of neighbouring buildings, locate specific land-use plans (PPAS), areas where certain grants are available, listed sites, and more.
• WalOnMap, which is the Walloon Region equivalent of the first tool.
• GeoPunt serves the same purpose but is useful for the Flemish Region.
• Alternatively, for the whole of Belgium, you can use CadGis Viewer — depending on which tool you feel most comfortable using.
• The Belgian cadastral plan, for ordering a cadastral extract for the property. This is a graphical representation of the plots and their boundaries.
• Finally, SunCalc allows you to check sun exposure.
